Miranda Hope Dunn
Owner and Principal Paintings Conservator, Dunn Art Conservation Studio, LLC
Miranda is an accredited paintings conservator based in Los Angeles and a Professional Member of the American Institute for Conservation.
With a Master of Science from the premier U.S. conservation program, the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation, she holds a key position at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and has worked in private practice for 7 years. She has previously worked at the Walters Art Museum and the Baltimore Museum of Art. Grounded in academic training and a commitment to ethical standards, she has shared her expertise through lectures at CalArts and the Claremont Colleges and at LACMA and has made contributions to professional publications such as AIC News.
Miranda continues to serve the Los Angeles community at LACMA while expanding her professional portfolio through Dunn Art Conservation Studio, LLC, providing museum-quality treatment, condition reporting, and housing and display recommendations to individuals, galleries, and institutions.
